Abstract

This assignment is about how I felt about virtual learning on how it has impacted my college experience. This is due to how different it is to learn at home compared to learning in a school environment.

I believe that virtual learning gave me a negative impression on what the college experience is like since I never got to truly interact with my peers as well as my teachers. Being behind a screen, I feel very disconnected with my class making it somewhat boring to go to class. Interacting with my peers can be difficult since my classmates and I would only do that work without ever getting to know one another. Also, going to class can be somewhat challenging because being at home makes me reluctant to go to class. It’s as if I’m not growing as a person and I feel as though I am currently still in high school since I have never had a chance to go to campus. There are some classes where I am unable to give some of my teachers my full attention since being at home, there are many activities that I can do that may distract me. Also, being at home I would often get interrupted by family members which can make it somewhat difficult to stay on task. Although I currently have somewhat of a bad impression as to what college is really like, I believe that when I do get the chance to go to campus, my opinions will change.
